The department announces one position as research assistant. The position is at 50%, fixed-term for five months and is placed at the Department of Informatics, LUSEM.
Project Description
In this project we focus on understanding an unexplored phenomenon that targets cyber-risks from the perspective of the expansion of free digital services and the loss of privacy. We present this as a dilemma with the intention to develop a theoretical and an empirical study envisioned to produce innovative results. We envision that our research can generate interesting results that can influence both the government and business sector to raise awareness among individual, society and the industry about the consequences of cyber-risks that the “free service and loss of privacy” dilemma has generated.
