The Department of Political Science announces an employment as amanuensis in the project PUSHPEACE (funded by Riksbankens jubileumsfond)

Tasks and responsibilities
The most important tasks include collecting data from the peace processes in Colombia, Israel /Palestine and Northern Ireland, as well as reviewing data already collected in the same area. The project amanuensis will assist with planning, conducting and transcribing qualitative interviews in English and Spanish. The work also involves assisting in reference management and daily activities within the project's work.  

Requirements
The position requires a capacity for independent, accurate and systematic empirical work. General curiosity and good ability to process qualitative data are also important. Good knowledge of the field of peace and conflict science is required. Excellent English as well as previous experience with data collection from one or more of the project's empirical cases is a requirement. Since PUSHPEACE is focusing on data processing regarding the Colombia case at this stage, good knowledge of Spanish is a requirement. A Bachelor degree in Political Science and / or Peace and Conflict Studies is required, or equivalent skills and that you are a registered student at Lund University. We will prioritize applicants who has experience from working with reference software (such as Endnote or Zotero), and programs such as NVivo and/or excel.
