Student worker to the strategic  partnerships and networks team

Strategic Partnerships and Networks within the Division of External Relations are currently looking for a full-time student at Lund University who wants a creative and exciting part-time job (5%) during the autumn 2022 semester. As a student worker you will have the opportunity to work with qualified tasks and develop your professional network. You also gain experience of working in a public and international organisation.

Main tasks

As a student worker you usually have one main task to work with during the semester. Additional side tasks can be included, and your tasks may vary during the semester, depending on the needs identified within the Division of External Relations. The main tasks we are looking for student workers to work with are:

Canvas Page

  • Run the Canvas page “Extracurricular International Opportunities”. Tasks include writing short informative and interesting texts for the page, publishing new activities and making sure the page is updated.
  • Furthermore, help to promote the Canvas page to current students to increase the number of enrolled students.

Events

  • Providing administrative support at both in-person and online events.


Required qualifications

In order for us to be able to consider your application you must meet all of the below mentioned required qualifications:

  • You are a full-time student at Lund University.
  • You must have successfully passed at least 60 higher education credits at Lund University or previously in another University
  • You must have excellent English language skills, both speaking and writing.
  • You must have good knowledge of Lund University and its student life.
  • You must be physically present in Sweden/Skåne the majority of the semester.
  • Knowledge about EUGLOH and previous experience within the alliance.


Desirable qualifications and experience

In addition to the overall required qualifications there are also certain qualifications that are desirable.

Social media and websites:

  • Previous experience in working with social media or websites and content creation in a professional context.
  • Content creation and knowledge of design software (including but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite and Canva).

For all tasks it is beneficial if you have previous experience working in international higher education administration or in international projects. Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have experience in planning and giving support during online or/and on-site events.

Personal attributes

As a person you are responsible, thorough and solution oriented. You have a creative spirit and have a high sense of service and cooperation skills. Furthermore, you are comfortable representing Lund University and have excellent social skills.
