Work assignments
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to work within the MR physics group on the development of prostate cancer diagnostics and treatment monitoring in both the clinical and pre-clinical environment. We will use advanced diffusion- and relaxation-MRI to investigate the tissue microstructure and generate parameters that can be used as clinical biomarkers. Emphasis is placed on the ability to work interdisciplinary (i.e., in collaboration with researchers, doctors and international partners) and independently (i.e., through self-initiative, structuring and planning of original research). The MR physics group has a large international collaborative network, which means that travel for planning and execution of various future collaborative projects will be encouraged. Teaching and supervision at the advanced and postgraduate level can be included depending on departmental needs.
