The research group Food Hygiene at the Department of Food Technology, Engineering and Nutrition develops methods for identification of bacteria and clarifies the role of these bacteria in food and human health. The research performed in the group has been pioneering in development probiotics and the group has a close collaboration within both medical care, industry and academia.

Work duties
The research projects focus on the analysis of the microbiota composition and its link to immunological responses in health and disease, which are evaluated in experimental studies.
Work duties include:
Conducting experimental animal studies, which include handling and sampling of laboratory animals during the course of the studies, and subsequent analysis of tissue- and blood samples.
Required qualifications for the position are:
A PhD degree within the subject of the position.

The position is a fixed term position for 7 months at 100 percent of full time and starting by agreement.
