Description of the workplace

We are now recruiting a PhD student for a research project in adipocyte biology led by Senior lecturer Karin Stenkula. The research group is located at the Biomedical Centre within the Diabetes, metabolism and endocrinology section, Department of Experimental Medical Sciences, Medical Faculty, Lund University. The group conducts experimental diabetes research on adipose tissue function with particular focus on identifying mechanisms that regulate expansion and hormone sensitivity of adipose tissue. The research group has several established collaborations at Lund University as well as other national and international higher education institutions.  Here you can read more about our exciting research!
