The Student Experience and Mobility Team, at the Division of External Relations, Lund University, works with services for the international students.

Twice a year, Arrival Days and Orientation weeks are organized as part of this service. Our goal is to make all international students feel at home and to give them a social network. We are now looking for students to help us continue to reach these goals.

You will be part of a team of student workers with varying background and experiences. Your will be working with our events during the Arrival Day and Orientation Weeks in January, 2023, for example by leading one of our excursions or being responsible for a station on Arrival Day.

To qualify for this position, you should:

  • be a student at Lund University, Academic Year 2022/23 
  • be able to work full days between 3-10 January ,2023, plus weekends in January
  • have experience from an intercultural context, such as having studied or worked abroad
  • be a social and outgoing person, preferably with experience from service jobs currently
  • be or have been a mentor in the External Relations mentor program or a Lund Ambassador/Unibuddy with External Relations
  • speak English fluently
  • have experience of a leadership role
  • include a cover letter and a CV as attached documents in your application.

As an applicant, it is also advantageous if you have (one or more of the following):

  • experience with social media/IT
  • experience with media/communications
  • good understanding of Lund University as an organization
  • been active in a student organization at Lund University
  • experience with planning and implementing projects/events.

Other information

In January, there will be tasks that sometimes require working full days. This is a 15% of a full time position running from 1 December, 2022 – 30 June, 2023
