Description of the workplace
LTH forms the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, with approximately 9 000 students. The research carried out at LTH is of a high international standard and we are continuously developing our teaching methods and adapting our courses to current needs. The Department of Architecture and Built Environment has a turnover of approx. SEK 90 million/year and employs approx. 70 people – teachers, researchers, technical/administrative staff and PhD students, as well as short-term staff. The technical/administrative staff of eight employees make up the department's joint office for operational support. https://www.abm.lth.se
Research and education at the Department of Architecture and the Built Environment (ABM) involves architecture, urban planning and the built environment in general, its creation, change and development over time. Human experiences and behaviors as well as physical design and technical aspects of the built environment are a common area of interest for the department's research. The concept of sustainable living environments addresses the interest in environments as a framework for the lives that are lived. The Urban Arena gathers, strengthens and informs the research activities Lund University related to sustainable urban development. The research environment includes a network of approximately 200 researchers. Specifically, events are organized within the Urban Arena Testbed project to spread knowledge and facilitate cooperation. Together with our cooperation partners, and in dialogue with the actors of the surrounding society, innovative and scientifically well-founded solutions to current challenges in sustainable urban development are implemented.

Work duties
The position will be part of the Urban Arena Testbeds project led by Professor Andrew Karvonen and Associate Senior Lecturer Ida Sandström. The project involves transdisciplinary engagement with multiple partners in the Skåne region.

The position is a fixed term position for 11 months at 100 per cent of full time and starting by agreement.
