The Department of Psychology is now looking for a project assistant for 12 months (70%) within the research project "Assessment of mental illness through language analyzed by AI: Diagnosis, follow-up and outcome". The project works with methods to measure mental illness, mainly depression and anxiety, where participants answer questions about their mood in text form that are analyzed with natural language processing and machine learning The goal is to assess mental illness with higher validity compared to current methods.

Duties and areas of responsibility
The tasks include collecting and analyzing data, as well as writing scientific texts.

Qualifications
Applicants must have a basic education in psychology, where a master's or psychology degree is meritorious but not necessary. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high ability for scientific writing. Applicants should have high competence in quantitative methods, with an ability to learn new methods in natural trace processing.
