Description of the workplace
At the Division of Clinical Genetics, Department for Laboratory Medicine, Medical Faculty, our research is focused on cancer genomics and novel targeted treatments for cancer. The Division comprises nine research groups with a total of ~60 researchers and constitute a collaborative and inclusive research environment. In our research group, we apply large-scale sequencing, molecular genetic and cytogenetic techniques, and functional models of somatic genetic changes to understand how childhood leukemia arises and develops. Our long-term aims are to use our increased understanding of leukemia biology to identify novel treatment markers and develop new targeted therapies against childhood leukemia. Read more about us.
