Description of the workplace
The research groups Environmental Epidemiology and Planetary Health are located at the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and focus on the importance of the environmental environment for health. The research groups are led by Professor Lars Rylander and Associate Professor Anna Oudin, respectively, and consist of research staff. We are about 15 members in the research group from different parts of the world and they will be your closest colleagues. We see our different backgrounds as a strength that makes us better equipped to solve tomorrow's research challenges together. We listen to and value everyone's opinions at group meetings and try to weigh in different positions before decisions are made. A good mix regarding age, gender, educational background, clinic / preclinic, etc. and respect for each other's competencies provides a good discussion climate with a high ceiling and a good atmosphere, which in turn contributes to creativity in the research process.

Work duties and areas of responsibility
The employment primarily involves working in register and biobank-based epidemiological projects, where the connection between air pollution and fertility is studied, as well as the connection between noise and breast cancer and the connection between chemical environmental toxins and health. The position involves studying the current research areas, statistical processing of existing data and writing both scientific and popular science articles.
