Teaching assistant at the Division of Engineering Logistics (course MTTN25) - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Description of the work
The master course Warehousing and Materials Handling (MTTN25) is given at the division of Engineering Logistics. It is an electable course for specializations within the M and I engineering programs as well as for the International Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. We have four open positions as amanuens to assist in the course that is given lp 1 during autumn 2023. 

Work duties
The tasks involved in the position include supervision in the course MTTN25. You will be responsible for Q&A sessions once per week, guiding students in their case work. You will also read and give feedback on student reports, and coordinate field trips to company warehouses. The tasks also involve some course administration. The work is conducted in close cooperation with the course coordinator and examiner.

Eligibility
Only those admitted to first or second-cycle courses and study programmes at the Faculty of Engineering may be employed as teaching assistants. 

Qualifications
Required qualifications for the position:

• The student is enrolled as student at engineering programme or equivalent relevant programme.
• Very good knowledge in English, both in speaking and writing.
• Completed the course MTTN25 warehousing and materials handling.
• The position requires excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.

Merits for this position:

• Experience of teaching and/or supervision.
• Completed courses related to logistics and supply chain management

Additional information
The employment is limited to the period 2023-08-28 till 2023-11-30 and represents 20 %. The employment must not influence the course assistant’s studies in a negative way. The employment as a Teaching Assistant is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), 5 chapter 8-12 §§.
