Description of the work place

Lund University is looking for a project coordinator with focus on implementation of the ÖKS Interreg project, HALRIC (Hanseatic Life Science Research Infrastructure Consortium). The project´s aim is to further develop the research and innovation in life science by using the large-scale facilities (ESS, MAX IV, DESY and European XFEL) as well as cutting-edge smaller-scale infrastructures such as cryoEM and others. The main administration of HALRIC will be carried out at Medicon Valley Alliance but Lund University is the lead partner and has the over-all responsibility for the project. The HALRIC project director at Lund University will therefor need support with administrative lead partner specific tasks and in addition Lund University will lead two more of the work packages in HALRIC. One of these work packages is the Hanseatic Science Cloud and the announced position includes the role of coordinator for this work package. The host unit for the employment will be Antigen Presentation at Experimental Medical Science at BMC.

The Coordinator position is a permanent position part time (70%). Probationary employment might be applied. Desired start date is April 1st or by agreement.

Work duties and areas of responsibility

Your work duties and areas of responsibilities will include supporting the HALRIC project director at Lund University with various administrative tasks in connection with the project implementation, as well as dedicated support to the work package Hanseatic Science Cloud manager including event managing, development of protocols and quality management procedures, travel bookings, preparing for meetings, project reporting, evaluation, assessment as well as archiving. Other work duties may be applied.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Education in administration, business management
  • You have experience of working with EU Interreg projects and writing reports for EU.
  • You have a minimum of five years of administrative experience.
  • You have previously worked with projects or initiatives about research infrastructures.
  • You are proficient in the Microsoft Office software package.
  • You are comfortable with both speaking and writing in English.

You are independent but also receptive. It is important that you are communicative and able to create trusting relationships. You pay attention to details and are highly organized. You have also a strong sense of service and are flexible with respect to tasks and workload.

Desired qualifications:

- You have at least basic knowledge in Swedish (in particular reading).

- You have experience from administrative tools at Lund University (e.g., Primula, Lupin).

- You have experience in international communication.

- You are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing among tasks.
