Work duties
The department of EIT will employ teaching assistants for study period (LP) 1 2023. The teaching assistants will primarily assist in the teaching of the courses at the department. The work duties also includes to assist the course responsible teacher with related tasks, as in grading, hand in assignments, question hours, course development and other administration depending on the actual needs.

The teaching assistants are needed for the following courses:

  • EITF65 Digitalteknik (”LP” 1-2)
  • EITA35 Elektronik (”LP” 1-2)
  • ETIN20 Digital IC-konstruktion
  • EITF35 Digitala strukturer på kisel
  • ETIN40 IC-projekt 2 (”LP” 1-2)
  • EITA15 Digitala system (Helsingborg, ”LP” 1-2)
  • EITF85 Electromagnetic Field Theory (“LP” 1)
  • ETEF15 Krets- och mätteknik, fortsättningskurs (Helsingborg)
  • EITG01 Dator- och telekommunikation (Helsingborg)

Qualification requirements
Only those admitted to first or second-cycle courses and study programs at the
faculty may be employed as teaching assistants.

Required qualifications:

  • Good grades from relevant courses.
  • Very good oral and written proficiency in Swedish and English. In the case where the relevant course is not given in Swedish, only English is applicable.
  • Good pedagogical skills.
  • Ability to communicate and build relations.
  • Ability to cooperate.

Additional requirements:

  • Previous teaching experience as teaching assistant or similar, at the
    department or in close subjects.
  • Grades in other relevant courses.

Further information
We plan to hire approximately 15 teaching assistants, for a period between August 21, 2023, to the end of the relevant course or according to agreement and no longer than January 13, 2024. The position is between 5%-25% of full time by agreement. The employment as a Teaching Assistant is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), 5 chapter 8-12 §§.
