The research group Tumor Microenvironment
The research group conducts clinical cancer research applying advanced, experimental methods. The research focus is on brain tumors and the team encompasses clinical scientists, postdoctoral fellows, doctoral students, research engineers and research nurses.

We now offer an open position for a project assistant for a limited-time employment of six months. The employment is full-time with proposed entry date 15 September 2023, or as agreed with the selected candidate.

Work duties

The duties involve experimental work, data analysis and compilation of results for written and oral presentations.

Qualification requirements

The applicant must have:

  • MSc in biotechnology or equivalent.
  • Experience of experimental work with T cells.
  • Experience of experimental work in cancer.
  • Good collaboration skills.

Meritorious for the position:

Experimental work with viral vectors.

The employment is time-limited to six months, 100% of full-time with starting date 15 September 2023, or as agreed with the selected candidate.

The Department of Clinical Sciences in Lund (IKVL) is one of six departments at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University. The department has broad collaboration, both within the faculty and within other units at the University. IKVL also has a well-developed collaboration with Skåne University Hospital (SUS) and Region Skåne as well as the surrounding society and industry. IKVL strives to promote clinical and experimental translational research, development and education.
