Description of the workplace
The research group Food Hygiene at the Department of Food Technology, Engineering and Nutrition develops methods for identification of bacteria and clarifies the role of these bacteria in food and human health. The research performed in the group has been pioneering in development of probiotics and the group has a close collaboration within both medical care, industry and academia.

Work duties
As a Teaching assistant your work duties may vary, but you must be admitted to studies at the faculty where the work is to be carried out and the duties should provide an insight into the academic world.
You will be employed as a Teaching assistant to support the Probiotic course (KLGN01), where your main duties and responsibilities include laboratory work, PBL and exercises during the course.

The position is a fixed term position for a 2-month period at 25 per cent of full time and starting at 231101or according to agreement. The employment as a Teaching assistant is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), 5 chapter 8-12 §§.
