The Department of Psychology is seeking a project assistant for 12 months (20%) within the research project 'AI4CBT -- Explainable, Human-Centric, Psychology-Grounded Fine-Grained Assessment and Planning for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy'. The project focuses on how internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (I-CBT) can be enhanced using AI methods (natural language processing and machine learning). In the project, patients respond in writing to open questions about their mental health. The responses are analyzed with AI and used to customize and select CBT modules, as well as to measure improvement in mental ill-health. The goal is to create an AI-supported I-CBT.

Duties and responsibilities
The duties include data collection and analysis, as well as writing scientific texts.
Qualifications
Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in psychology. A degree in psychology is meritorious. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high ability for scientific writing. Applicants should have high competence in quantitative methods, with the ability to learn new methods within natural language processing.
