We seek an individual to assist with research activities as well as coordinate and manage activities in three interdisciplinary projects at Lund University Centre for sustainability Studies: WaterWarmth (Accelerating the transition towards sustainable heating in the North Sea region), Energy Transitions in Nepal, and TRANSFORM. The responsibilities will include work/collaborations with national and international academic institutions and also with actors outside of academia, including municipalities, small- & medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), branch and interest organizations. The research assistant will work directly with project leaders. The applicant should have proven experience coordinating multiple tasks, preferabilty in academic environment. Furthermore, the applicant should possess an advanced interdisciplinary academic degree (MSc. or equivalent) with solid experience in research focused on sustainability transitions and tranformations. English fluency is essential; strong Swedish language skills is also a must. Periodic travel for project meetings etc. may be required.

Main tasks
•    Data organization and analysis (including qualitative and quantitative methods) using established analytical frameworks
•    Basic report writing
•    Report and paper editing
•    Arrangement of meetings and workshops
•    Ability to cooperate with research teams
•    Outreach and collaboration experience with actors outside academia 
•    Support in the planning and management of project work packages 
•    Support in research communication in social media and news outlets.
