The position is placed at the Department of Immunotechnology, physically located at the Medicon Village Science Park in Lund. The specific research group constitutes two senior researchers, three doctoral students and multiple master thesis students/guest researchers. Work duties 

The work duties include project management of translational projects in collaboration with Skåne University Hospital and other clinical collaborators. Your will be responsible for the full workflow from staining of tissue sections, image and spatial omics instrumentation handling and down-stream bioinformatic analyses.

Qualifications  
Required qualifications for the position are:

  • A PhD in biomedicine or immunology
  • Very good oral and written proficiency in English. 
  • Knowledge in myeloid cell biology in the tumor microenvironment, onco-immunology, statistical analyses and bioinformatics
  • Experience in spatial omics technologies, including morphology staining of tissue.
  • Deep knowledge and broad experience in bioinformatic workflows in R
  • Documented project management ability
  • Experience in translational scientific work and multi-disciplinary collaborations

Additional qualifications for the position are:

  • Documented ability to draft scientific text and independently summarize data into manuscripts for submission.
  • Experience with multi-omics data integration

Employment is for 100% of full-time during March 1 2024 or according to agreement, until Dec 31, 2024.
