The workplace
Genetic damage to bone marrow blood stem cells can cause acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), a type of blood cancer associated with low survival. Our research aims to develop new targeted treatments that attack the leukemia stem cells in AML.
Job assignments
Duties You will mainly study the CD71 gene as well as in vitro models of leukemia, lentiviral vectors, molecular biological analyses and cell cultures.
Qualifications
Requirements profile The requirements are: Master's degree in a subject relevant to the work Experience of working with the protein CD71.
Experience of cancer research Experience in molecular biology.
Excellent references from previous employers.
Experience with cell cultures.
Flow cytometric experience
Meritorious are experience from: In vitro models of leukemia. Work with lentiviral vectors. Molecular biological analyses. Cell cultures.
Additional information
The position is a fixed-term employment for three months with a start date of 2024-03-01 and end date of 2024-06-30. In connection with the selection, special emphasis will be placed on relevant competence (see above), academic qualifications, initiative, communication skills and personal suitability.
