Automatic Control is an exciting and broad subject, which includes both deep mathematics and practical engineering. Throughout history, it has been central to many fields, from the early development of telecommunications to the space race. Now the technology is driven towards even larger systems and control technology is more relevant than ever. AI and Machine Learning are undergoing strong growth in control technology both nationally and internationally and the demand from students, academia and industry is very high.
