About the workplace The research group Molecular Pediatric Oncology at the Department of Laboratory Medicine within the Faculty of Medicine conducts research in the pediatric cancer type neuroblastoma The research group is currently working on preclinical testing of new drugs against childhood cancer. The group is international and includes employees in research, administration and technology. We are now looking for a project assistant to support the project. Job duties You will carry out cell culture, cell and molecular biological methods, staining (IHC/IF) of tumors, in vitro preclinical testing of drugs against neuroblastoma. The tasks also consist of documenting and other tasks. Requirements profile Requirements for the position are: - Experience in preclinical cancer research - Experience with immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence - Very good knowledge of English- Good analytical skills, drive and good ability to collaborate. Meritorious for the position are: Experience in neuroblastoma research Experience in chemotherapy resistance research. Miscellaneous The position is a 100 percent fixed-term position with a desired start date of 240901, but no later than 250131.
