The Department of Business Law at Lund University seeks one researcher in EU Climate law – 10 % employment during 12 months.
Job assignments
The holder of the research position will conduct research in the area of EU Climate law in particular regarding trade relations between EU and China.
The researcher will prepare research applications and publish articles in scientific journals in the above-mentioned area of research. The researcher will also cooperate with other researchers at the Department and is expected to interact with students and participate in the common activities of the Department.
Qualifications and assessment
Scholarly proficiency is the main requirement for employment. Applicants must hold a PhD/LLD with a specialization in EU law/ Climate law. The applicant shall be able to conduct independent research at a post-doctoral level, and have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in English is necessary. The applicant shall also be team-oriented.
The application must include a letter of motivation in which the applicant present his/her research statements in the area of EU Climate law, in particular regarding trade relations between EU and China. The applicant’s ability to use his/her skills and experience to strengthen and supplement existing research activities within the School of Economics and Management will also be considered.
Conditions
The employment will start on August 1, 2024.
The length of the employment is 12 months (10 % of full time), without possibility of prorogation.
