The project assistant will mainly work on the project “Of People, PV, Power Lines: Energy Islands in the Nordics” funded by the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet). They will support Henner Busch in conducting research on energy planning and citizen participation in the energy transition on Gotland (Sweden) and Åland (Finland but Swedish-speaking).
The work includes organising, conducting & documenting data collection through field work and desk-research. This includes interviews, policy document and other material. The project assistant will contribute to the writing of scientific articles.
The successful candidate is expected to hold a master degree in sustainability science, human geography, political science or a corresponding programme. Deeper knowledge about Just Transition, Energy Justice or energy planning are required for this job. Applicants are invited to submit material that document this knowledge. The job also requires fluency in both Swedish and English. Experience from previous research projects using qualitative methods and stakeholder involvement are a merit.
