The current position will be placed at the Division of Water Resources Engineering, Department of Building and Environmental Technology. Here, research and teaching pursue the understanding of how water resides and is transported in nature and urban systems. This includes but is not limited to, comprehension and modeling of the components of the hydrological cycle as well as geospatial modeling of water quality and quantity in agricultural systems. At the division, there are about 30 employees and, around 20 PhD students. The current position is within the Hydrology Group. The position involves creative and varied work, and the researcher will join a dynamic and multifaceted research group.
You will work with experimental hydrology and hydraulics involving both laboratory and field measurements. The main task will be related to developing and testing of innovative automated low-cost soil moisture sensors and control systems in agriculture. The work will also include assisting the coastal engineering research group with field work and data management.

Appointment to a position as a researcher requires that the applicant has a PhD in a relevant field. The certificate proving the qualification requirement is met, must be received before the employment decision is made.
