The workplace
The Research Group for Developmental Immunology conducts research on humoral immunity. We study how early immune exposure shapes B-cell memory and antibody production in the long term. The group is led by Associate Professor Joan Yuan and consists of PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and technical staff. We are hereby seeking a driven Assistant Researcher to work in neonatal B-cell immunology. The position is permanent and full-time, with a desired start date of January 1, 2025.
Worktasks and areas of responsiblity
As an Assistant Researcher, you will be responsible for working on studies regarding the role neonatal B-cells play in the creation of lifelong humoral immunity. The candidate should be an experienced, highly specialized, and independent researcher and is expected to drive the project and coordinate collaboration both within and outside the lab.

Qualifications
PhD and postdoctoral experience
Several years of experience as a research engineer Documented experience and training in flow cytometry Documented experience and training in bioinformatics, R studio Several years of experience in VDJ sequencing, scRNAseq, bulk RNAseq for low input samples.
Requirements
Experience with VDJseq analysis of B cell repertoires
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. The tasks require that you can drive the project and solve problems independently, and coordinate with complex internal and external stakeholders.
