Description of the workplace

The research group is headed up by Ann Alriksson-Schmidt and consists of doctorial students and researchers performing research related to disability and public health. The research group is located at Wigerthuset in Lund, located close to the Skåne University Hospital.

Work description

We are looking for a Project coordinator to assist in developing a research project carried out in Africa. The Project coordinator will also work on some national ongoing research projects related to spina bifida and cerebral palsy in particular. Travel will most likely be required. The Project coordinator must be able to work independently and to be able to move projects forward.

Qualifications

Necessary qualifications for the job

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Public Health (or similar degree that involves courses on research methodology and statistics)
  • Physician or registered nurse.
  • Fluent in English

Meritorious are:

  • We are looking for a responsible individual with great writing and analytical skills who works well with deadlines
  • Be able to work independently and able to move projects forward
  • Speak any language spoken in Ethiopia
  • Experience (clinical and research) related to disability (cerebral palsy and/or spina bifida).

Other
The position is a fixed-term employment for 9 months at 100% of a full-time position. The desired start date is the 1st of March 2025, or according to agreement.

The Department of Clinical Sciences Lund is one of six departments at the Faculty of Medicine. Clinical Sciences Lund cooperates closely with Skåne University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine in order to optimize the conditions for preclinical and clinical translational research, research strategies and development, as well as education on both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
