Description of the Workplace
The Clinical Microbiology research group conducts research in the field of medical microbiology, encompassing cell and molecular biology, clinical laboratory medicine, public health, global health and epidemiology, cancer, immunology within the medical field, and pulmonary medicine. The group is led by Professor Kristian Riesbeck and consists of research and technical staff. The group is located at the Wallenberg Laboratory in Malmö. Job Description and Responsibilities
As an assistant researcher, your tasks include independently managing projects under supervision, planning experiments, and performing laboratory work. When necessary, the role also involves supporting/teaching clinical PhD students and post-docs by providing technical assistance and “know-how.” Additional tasks may arise within the research group, such as conducting transcription analyses in Gram-negative bacteria.
