Description of the workplace
The Molecular Pediatric Oncology team at the Department of Laboratory Medicine within the Faculty of Medicine currently conducts research in childhood cancer. The research team is led by Dr. Daniel Bexell and the group is international and comprises research, administration and technical staff. We are now looking for a driven and experienced associate researcher

Work duties and areas of responsibility
The research assignment consists in independent work with analysis of big data including bulk RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics. Other work assignments and tasks may be included. You will also write and publish articles in research journals, apply for your own grants, and assist in the other work duties that the above-mentioned research project entails.
