Description of the workplace
Our research group, led by Charalampos Georgiopoulos, a neuroradiologist and associate professor, is dedicated to exploring neurodegenerative processes using advanced imaging techniques. The group benefits from the expertise of Danielle van Westen, also a neuroradiologist and associate professor, as well as a PhD student and a research assistant. In addition, we host medical students writing their theses, enriching our collaborative environment.

We collaborate closely with the department’s MRI physicists, who bring indispensable technical insights. Located at Skåne University Hospital in Lund, we have access to state-of-the-art imaging facilities, including a 7T scanner and multiple 3T scanners.
