Description of the workplace
The Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Glycobiology (MIG) is looking for a research engineer with a focus on cell biology techniques, protein chemistry and immunology to our ongoing research projects led by Professor Catharina Svanborg. The group develops new discoveries from molecular mechanisms and animal models to clinical trials. Work duties and areas of responsibility
You are expected to develop ongoing projects and perhaps make new discoveries. The work includes developing methodology and supervising younger group members and students. You will work in a team and collaborate on all our ongoing projects. You are expected to have experience of work tasks typical of laboratory research.

Further information
The employment is a part time (20%) fixed term employment of 12 months according to SÄVA. Start date is May 1st, 2025, or according to agreement.
