The Robotics Lab at LTH has a number of research projects. One project is the EUROSTAR project "RIACT" which aims to evaluate off-the-shelf computer vision libraries for use in our SkiROS system. The goal of the project is to evaluate the different software packages straight out of the box, i.e., to identify the baseline performance of each package and then integrate each of the methods into a 'robot skill' that can then be automatically controlled on the robot via the SkiROS software.

Only those admitted to first or second-cycle courses and study programs at the faculty may be employed as teaching assistants.

The position is a fixed term position from 2025-05-01 until 2025-06-30 period at 50 per cent of full time. The employment as a Teaching Assistant is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), 5 chapter 8-12 §§. The position follows the work time agreement (Flextidsavtal) for technical and administrative staff.
