The Department of Electrical and Information Technology at The Faculty of Engineering, LTH, Lund University is one of the larger departments with around 120 employees. The department consists of four divisions and a group of technical and administrative staff. We are situated in the E-building at LTH’s campus in the north of Lund, but we also have teaching activities at campus Helsingborg.
We will now employ 19-22 teaching assistants for work with teaching activities during study period 1 and in some cases also study period 2 2025, and also for a summer school in June 2025.
The teaching assistants will primarily assist in the teaching of the courses at the department, as well as assist the course responsible teacher with related tasks, as in grading hand-in assignments, question hours, course development and other administration depending on the actual needs.

Part from this, we will also employ two teaching assistants for work with the summer school ”RISC-V on a chip in three days” during June 2-13 2025.
Only those admitted to first or second-cycle courses and study programmes at the faculty may be employed as teaching assistants.

The position is a fixed term position for the period June 2-13 2025 and August 25-October 21 2025 (study period 1) as well as August 25-December 19 2025 (study period 1 and 2) at between 5-30 per cent of full time by agreement.
The employment as a Teaching Assistant is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), 5 chapter 8-12 §§. The employment is covered by the “Working time agreement for teachers”.
