Description of the Workplace
The position is based in the research group led by Professor Arne Egesten. The group includes clinical doctoral students and three postdoctoral researchers. The research project focuses on how the innate immune system of the airways regulates airway inflammation, particularly the roles of the complement system and DNA-interacting enzymes, and their importance in the transcriptional regulation of inflammation. The project employs experimental disease models and also analyzes clinical samples from patients. We are now seeking an additional Associate researcher to contribute to this work. The research is conducted within a network of several collaborative research groups that share technical platforms and hold regular seminars. The work is based at the Biomedical Centre (BMC) in Lund, near Skåne University Hospital.
Within the research group, we value a positive work environment based on respect and care in our relationships with each other. We continually work to create conditions for job satisfaction, development, and involvement for all employees.
