Work duties and areas of responsibility
The human bone marrow (BM) stroma provides the hematopoietic microenvironment (HME), which plays an important role for normal and diseased hematopoiesis, especially in myelofibrosis (MF). The project “Human non-hematopoietic stem cells and their role in myelofibrosis” aims to investigate the HME in myelofibrosis using xenotransplanation models, cell sorting (FACS) and cell culture, stroma progenitor assays, single cell technologies combined with immunofluorescent profiling.
We are actively seeking a motivated and creative project assistant with a strong interest to join our efforts in this novel research field. The work duties and responsibilities include active participation in experimental work using the methods as described above. Responsibilities can furthermore include administrative tasks.
