We are looking for one visiting professor at the Faculty of Law to provide international perspectives in legal research, Lund University, Faculty of Law.

About the role

As a visiting professor at Lund University, your responsibilities will primarily focus on research in law and if applicable mentorship. The specifics will be determined on an individual basis.

You are currently employed as a full professor at a higher law education institution outside of Sweden, and meet the requirements presented below.

Requirements – essential qualifications to carry out duties

We are looking for candidates who: 

  • Are currently employed as full professors at higher law education institutions outside of Sweden. 
  • Demonstrate an outstanding scientific track record of the highest international standard within their field of expertise.
  • Possess unique competencies valuable to our Faculty. 
  • Demonstrate strong academic leadership, with a proven ability to develop research environments and academic communities, and to obtain external grants. 
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Are proficient in both oral and written English.

  • Contribute and take part in one or several of our multifaceted research environments
  • Have broad experience regarding external engagement with wider society
  • Have broad experience regarding cooperation with international research networks
  • Experience of research-based supervision
  • Experience of mentoring early career researchers
