Requirements profile
We are looking for a person who can help with research activities in a project about
immobility under a changing climate at Lund University Center for Sustainability Studies (LUCSUS). The responsibility will be to conduct data collection with qualitative and quantitative approaches in Vellinge and Trelleborg on questions of why people stay in places despite climate consequences. The successful applicant will work closely with Project Manager Emily Boyd.
Applicants should have an advanced academic degree (Masters) in environmental social science, political science or equivalent. They should have documented experience of carrying out independent research activities under tight deadlines, able to perform parallel tasks. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement. Previous knowledge of data collection with mixed methods including surveys and interviews and experience of working in the project case sites is a requirement. Awareness of national climate risk is a merit.
