The Department of Psychology is now looking for a project assistant for 12 months (70%) within the research project "Assessment of mental illness through language analyzed by AI: Diagnosis, follow-up and outcome". This project uses generative AI to develop and implement clinical tools and for assessment and treatment of mental health. Users are clinicians working with mental health and patients seeking mental health. The tools include chatbots that conduct assessment and treatment (CBT), and analysis of transcribed meetings between the patient and the clinician.

Working task
The work task includes building and extending a platform for the AI tools.

Qualifications
The position requires documented experience in software development of AI tools in clinical psychology. In addition, this requires strong competence in software development, particularly in frontend engineering, as well as backend/server management and the secure deployment of applications. It also demands experience in IT security, including access controls and encryption, and a solid understanding of data protection regulations such as GDPR. This includes implementing technical solutions, maintaining infrastructure, and supporting regulatory documentation (e.g., DPIAs, SOPs).
