Description of the Workplace
The Laboratory for Systemic Radiation Therapy at the Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund, within the Faculty of Medicine, conducts research in radiation biology as well as radionuclide therapy and diagnostics. We are now looking for a full-time Project Assistant to join our research group from mid-July until January 7, 2026.

Job Duties and Areas of Responsibility

  • Cell culture
  • Flow cytometry
  • Western blotting
  • In vivo experiments – tumor measurement, weighing, health monitoring, subcutaneous implantation
  • Immunohistochemistry

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in biology, medicine, biotechnology, or an equivalent field
  • Previous experience in flow cytometry, human cell culture, immunohistochemistry, and in vitro therapies
  • Knowledge of stem cell markers in cancer
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • A strong interest in research

Additional qualifications that are considered an asset:

  • Completed course in animal handling
  • Knowledge in tumor biology and advanced cancer biology
  • Knowledge of radiation protection and handling of open radioactive sources
  • Laboratory experience, preferably beyond academic training

Additional Information
The position is a special fixed-term employment (SÄVA) at 100% for 6 months.
The desired start date is July 15, 2025, or as agreed.
