Members in iPanCare Lab have chance of being enrolled in the national programs of SciLifeLab and DDLS and attending national schools, various research activities and retreats, which will facilitate their nationwide network and multidisciplinary collaborations. Working with a new Principle Investigator, lab members will benefit from first-hand guidance and freedom of exploring exciting projects within the research area.

We care about creating a positive, respectful, and stimulating environment. We value communication and collaboration and a workplace that promotes learning and development for all employees. We are also committed to building a safe and positive environment for all employees through mutual respect and tolerance.

Description of the project

Pancreatic cancer is a lethal disease which is characterized by late diagnoses in majority of cancer patients. Earlier detection of pancreatic cancer could improve the survival by intercepting cases at early stage and increasing chances for radical resection. Our lab is interested in looking for novel blood biomarkers for cancer diagnoses. The project assistant will be working on a project of protein biomarker discovery for pancreatic cancer using clinical samples.
