Description of the Workplace
The Breast and Lung Cancer Research Group is based at Medicon Village, together with other groups affiliated with the Lund University Cancer Center. Our research focuses on improving the molecular understanding of breast and lung cancer and translating research findings into clinical diagnostics. By characterizing the genomic, transcriptional, and DNA methylation landscapes of different tumor subgroups, both in-house and in public cohorts, we aim to identify novel molecular subgroups of potential clinical relevance, additional targets for synergistic treatment, and prognostic and/or predictive biomarkers.
We are a diverse team with backgrounds in molecular biology, medicine, and bioinformatics, working in an interdisciplinary manner and in close collaboration with the clinic. We have both national and international collaborators and strive to foster a research environment that is enriching, open, and creative.
We are now seeking a full-time Project Assistant to join our research group starting on October 15 (or as agreed) until April 15, 2026.
