This position as researcher is within the experimental nuclear structure group in Lund, which is part of the Division of Particle and Nuclear Physics at the Department of Physics. You are going to work with the maintenance and final construction of various detector systems the group is responsible for within several international research groupings and collaborations in Europe and the United States. Therefore, you are required to work together with colleagues in international research environments. You are going to analyze existing research data which should lead to scientific publications. You are going to be involved in teaching activities, primarily supervision of first-cycle nuclear physics laboratories. There are opportunities to participate in outreach activities and take courses in university pedagogics. Your main workplace is the Department of Physics in Lund, but travels to accelerator laboratories in Europe are also going to be necessary. The position requires clear and thoughtful communication.
