Description of the workplace
The Division of Occupational and Environment Medicine is part of the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University and contributes to identifying health risks in the work and surrounding environment, eliminating these risks, and preventing ill health. The division focuses on a variety of research areas including the work environment, the surrounding environment such as chemicals, air pollution, noise, and metals during different time windows in life for health, planetary health, and lifestyle factors.
The research group Genetic Occupational and Environmental Medicine is located at the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and focuses on the role of the environment on health, by combining genetic and molecular approaches with epidemiological and register-based studies. The research group is led by Professor Karin Broberg. We are about 10-15 members in the research group from different parts of the world. The research group is located at Medicon Village in Lund.

Work duties and areas of responsibility
The position consists of work tasks related to a study on occupational exposure and inflammation. The work tasks include laboratory work, extraction and analysis of circular RNA, and presentation of results.

The position is a full time position (100%) time limited to 6 months starting November 1st, 2025 or according to agreement.
