Description of the workplace
The oncology research group, with a focus on melanoma, aims to develop new treatment methods and identify biomarkers in patients with metastatic melanoma. Despite significant progress in recent decades, many patients do not respond to current treatments or experience relapse. By mapping the biological mechanisms behind why some patients respond to immunotherapy while others do not, we hope to improve future treatment strategies. We conduct advanced molecular analyses of tumor tissue from patients undergoing immunotherapy. These analyses generate large amounts of data that require processing by experts with the right skills in bioinformatics and molecular biology.
The research group consists of four associate researchers and one PhD student. Within the group, we value a positive work environment characterized by respect and care in our interactions. We continuously strive to create conditions for job satisfaction, development, and participation for all employees.
We are now looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join the group, with a desired start date of December 1, 2025.
