About the education

The doctoral position is located within Section 3 of the Centre for Languages and Literature (SOL), which encompasses the disciplines of French, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, Modern Greek, Ancient Greek, and Latin. Within French, education is offered at all levels, from beginner courses to doctoral studies, and research is conducted in the fields of linguistics, literary studies, didactics, and philology. Similarly, within Modern Greek, teaching spans from introductory to doctoral level, with research focusing on linguistics, literary studies, and area studies.

The education is carried out in Lund.

Work assignments

Doctoral studies. Departmental work, such as teaching and administrative tasks, can be assigned. The maximum amount of such work is 20 %.

Assessment criteria

The selection process will primarily take into account the applicants’ ability to benefit from doctoral studies. This is assessed against the criteria quality, quantity, progression and relevance.
