Description of the workplace
The research group for Developmental Immunology conducts research in humoral immunity. We study how early immune exposure shapes B-cell memory and antibody production in the long term. The group is led by Associate Professor Joan Yuan and consists of doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and technical staff. Work duties and areas of responsibility
The duties include working with primary human tissue to investigate interactions between immune cells and stromal cells in the lung during homeostasis and inflammation. Main techniques include spatial omics, fluorescence microscopy, multiparameter flow cytometry, and in vitro cultures derived from primary human material. In consultation with the project leader, you will be involved in experimental planning, data analysis, interpretation of results, and data compilation. The position also includes providing experimental support to undergraduate students.

The position is a fixed-term employment (SÄVA) for six months at full-time (100%), starting from December 1st, 2025, or by agreement.
