Subject description
The research group works with ultrafast spectroscopy to study light-induced processes in materials.
Work duties
The main duties is to be the lab responsible of the “Millennia Lab”. This involves organizing the user scheduling and laser maintenance. If needed, even user support. Scientifically the researcher will be involved in the research projects of the Pullerits and Baranov’s groups of Chemical Physics.
Qualification requirements
Applicants must have:
- A PhD or equivalent research qualification within the subject of the position.
- Very good oral and written proficiency in English.
- Very good expertise in amplified femtosecond laser systems.
- Very good expertise in timeresolved THz spectroscopy.
Assessment criteria and other qualifications
Experience in running an ultrafast laser lab.
Consideration will also be given to good collaborative skills, drive and independence, and how the applicant’s experience and skills complement and strengthen ongoing research within the department, and how they stand to contribute to its future development.
Terms of employment
Fixed-term employment for 1 year with start on January 1st, 2026. Full time.
