Subject description

The research group works with ultrafast spectroscopy to study light-induced processes in materials.

 Work duties

The main duties are to carry out ultrafast laser spectroscopy studies of light harvesting materials with special emphasis in chiral materials. 50 % of the work will be carried out at MAX PEEM beamline and includes user support.

Qualification requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A PhD within the subject of the position.
  • Very good oral and written proficiency in English.
  • Very good expertise in amplified femtosecond laser systems
  • Experience in using MAX PEEM beamline of MAX IV.

Assessment criteria and other qualifications

Experience in running an ultrafast laser lab

Consideration will also be given to good collaborative skills, drive and independence, and how the applicant’s experience and skills complement and strengthen ongoing research within the department, and how they stand to contribute to its future development.

Terms of employment

Permanent employment with start on February 1st, 2026. Full time.
