Our activities are carried out in close cooperation with international organizations and international partners through long-term and equitable collaborations, with ongoing projects in education, research, and capacity development in several countries in Africa and Asia.

Within the research group, we value a good working environment characterized by respect and care in our relationships with one another, and we strive for a workplace that is experienced as developmental and stimulating for all employees. We continuously work to create conditions for job satisfaction, development, and participation for all staff members. We care about both physical safety and the psychosocial work environment.

  • Experience independently leading and publishing literature reviews
  • Documented knowledge and experience in qualitative research methods
  • Documented experience in course leadership and teaching in public health sciences and epidemiology at the advanced level
  • Higher education pedagogical training
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others within research groups
  • Very good ability to express oneself orally and in writing in both Swedish and English

Merits for the position are:

  • Experience working with human rights and research in migration and health
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment
  • Documented experience of international work, preferably within the UN system

Assessment of applicants will primarily be based on their scientific merits and potential as researchers. Particular emphasis will be placed on scientific ability within the subject area. Great importance will also be placed on personal qualities; the position requires good collaboration skills and an enjoyment of teamwork. Furthermore, you should find it rewarding and interesting to work in a multicultural environment and with international partners.
