Description of the workplace
The geriatrics research group at the Department of Clinical Sciences in Malmö consists of about 20 people, and several ongoing projects focus on different elderly patient groups and population studies supported by, among others, the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, Region Skåne, and the Swedish Research Council. Job duties and responsibilities
As a research engineer, you will work in a research team together with a medical secretary and nurse in research projects within the geriatrics research group. In research projects, you will conduct health examinations of participants, medical assessments, various functional tests, and interviews based on pre-prepared questionnaires. Furthermore, you will perform statistical analyses and quality control of collected material, process data, and compile results. The work will take place at the research clinic at CRC, Skåne University Hospital, Malmö, and at research clinics located in Hässleholm, Eslöv, and Ystad.
